Yuridia Francisca Gaxiola Flores, commonly known as Yuridia, (born October 4, 1986) is a Mexican singer. She came in second place in the fourth season of the reality show La Academia, which launched her career. In 2005, Yuridia released her debut album La Voz de un Ángel, which sold over 1,500,000 copies, making Yuridia the highest selling female artist in the country since Thalía in the 90s. She has remained active releasing several albums since then.
