I'm growing up and it's going well

To-do lists and labels
Agenda items and life rules
Dress codes, expectations
And surely a whole lot I don't know yet
But up till now it's always worked out
Even when I ignored the rules
Because I'm enjoying my brand-new dishwasher
Among a hundred thousand voices
It's good to think of myself sometimes
So when I've had enough of the daily grind
