LYRICS GAME

Seven o'clock, I wake up and it's light outside

Quick, I sweep, the house must shine

I wax, I scrub, I tidy up and I chase away the dust

I clean every cupboard

Until seven fifteen

Then I read a book or even two or three

I add a few colors that only I like

Then it's guitar, knitting, cake, and sometimes

I wonder where real life is?

Afternoon means puzzles, darts, and cookies

Paper mâché, ballet, checkmate

Pottery, puppet theater, and candles

Gymnastics, arts and crafts, rope, and Pascal wows me

Then I reread my books, I dream of adventure

I add some color, it's missing, I'm sure

Then I brush, I brush, and brush my hair

In this prison where I grew up

And I wonder and wonder and wonder and wonder

Where's real life hiding?

And tomorrow night the lights will rise

Because it's my birthday

What will that summer evening look like?
