Novia A La Fuga paints the hilarious yet thought-provoking picture of a bride who gets cold feet at the very last second. While wedding bells ring and guests wait, she feels her heart racing—but she can’t tell if it’s love or loneliness. Faced with a lifetime of doubt, she grabs her courage (and nothing else), flings her dress at the stunned priest, and sprints away. Melendi turns this chaotic escape into a celebration of freedom, showing that one week of party planning is never worth decades of regret.
Behind the comedy lies a gentle critique of social expectations. Relatives bicker over paid banquets, the groom is left speechless, and only her parents grin with pride. By choosing sunrises over a loveless honeymoon, the runaway bride reclaims her identity and reminds us that saying “I don’t” can sometimes be the bravest way to say “I do” to ourselves.
Melendi (Ramón Melendi Espina) is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Oviedo whose sound blends pop, rumba, and pop rock. He broke through with his debut album Sin noticias de Holanda in 2003, and his single "Con la luna llena" became the official theme of the 2004 Vuelta a España.
His catalog mixes catchy hooks with heartfelt, streetwise storytelling, including the Real Oviedo anthem "Volveremos." He has also appeared as a coach on La Voz Kids in Mexico. In 2025 he celebrated two decades on stage with the "20 años sin noticias" tour, drawing huge crowds across Spain.
