Pas Sans Toi (Not Without You) is M. Pokora’s heartfelt declaration that love can totally rewrite our story. The singer recalls the magical instant he first crossed paths with his sweetheart in a quiet alley – a spark so bright it opened “a new future” before his eyes. From that moment on, she became his number one, the person he would follow “jusqu’au bout” (all the way). The chorus paints vivid pictures of strolling across open fields, living a bohemian life, and carving eternal promises in stone, all of it possible only if she is by his side.

Yet this is not just rosy romance. Pokora owns up to past mistakes: hurtful words, wasted time, and broken hearts. With raw honesty he begs for “une dernière chance,” vowing that the pain has taught him to treasure what truly matters. The song swings between shimmering dreams of shared tomorrows and sincere pleas for forgiveness, making it a powerful reminder that real love is equal parts passion, humility, and the courage to start over – never, ever sans toi.

M. Pokora is a French singer, songwriter, and dancer born Matthieu Tota on September 26, 1985, in Strasbourg, France.

He got his start on the reality show Popstars with the group Linkup before going solo in 2004 as Matt Pokora. A 2005 lawsuit from R&B singer Matt Houston forced him to shorten his name, and "M. Pokora" stuck for the rest of his career; the stage name itself comes from a conversation with his Polish grandmother about humility, "pokora" in Polish.

Since then he has become one of France's biggest pop stars, blending pop, R&B, and dance influences across albums like R.E.D. and Pyramide. His 2016 album My Way, a tribute to the legendary French singer Claude François, went straight to number one in France. Off stage, he is married to the actress and singer Christina Milian.
