I'm as empty as the streets of a small town
At half past two at night
If you look deep into my eyes now
there's exactly nothing left
Lately I've even noticed
there's no shadow left either, that's gone too
I think I'm slowly dissolving into nothing
I wander aimlessly and only stop
to stare intently into nothing
I strain to see a forest
where there haven't even been trees till now
I trust nobody and
talk solely to myself here in the forest

I dig a hole with my hands
into the ground, into the asphalt
and keep staring into nothing
until I recognize something
If I really fall apart it'll happen
probably very soon
I dissolve faster
the faster I run
