SONG MEANING

Kali Uchis turns heartbreak into a power anthem in “Perdiste”, blending Spanish and English to tell a once-loved partner the cold, hard truth: you lost me. With playful questions like “Did you wake up early with an attitude?” and “Did you fill the bed with strangers?”, she imagines her ex scrambling for comfort while she rises above the drama. The repetitive hook “Me perdiste… no voy a volver” drives home her final decision, serving both as a taunt and a self-affirmation.

Despite flashes of nostalgia and that confessed “soft spot”, Kali’s message stays crystal clear: the past is over, shared dreams are cancelled, and she is moving forward with confidence. The song’s bilingual lyrics mirror the push-and-pull of emotions—tender memories against firm boundaries—making “Perdiste” a catchy lesson in self-worth, closure, and the sweet sting of realizing what you let slip away.
