SONG MEANING

“Una Flor” is Juanes’s sweet, sun-kissed love letter in song form. Over gentle guitar rhythms, the Colombian artist offers a single flower as a poetic symbol of everything he feels—beauty, fragrance, tenderness and devotion all wrapped into one delicate gift. Under a full moon, he confesses “lo mucho que me gustas” (how much he likes her), promising that every day of his life will be scented with this love.

The lyrics paint a cinematic scene on a quiet beach: two lovers barefoot in the sand, stars overhead, waiting together for dawn. Sharing the flower becomes a pledge of intimacy—just the two of them, the moon, the waves and a blooming promise that “todo en ella es amor.” By the end, “Una Flor” feels less like a bouquet and more like an invitation to linger in the glow of first love, relishing the beauty of nature and the purity of heartfelt affection.
