a
tablespoon

I'm gonna
pound
that
up
in
a
pestle and mortar
Just
pour
that
in
your
hand
And then
season
that
around
your
steak
as well
And
thenChinese
five spice
you can
get it
in
all
the
supermarkets
You know
about
a
heaped teaspoon
of
that
Just
sprinkle
from
a
height
And then
just
a little bit of
olive oil
to
go
on top
And then
we
pat it in
I'm gonna
put
this
griddle pan
onto
full-whack
'cause
to
do
a
proper
steak
you
need
to
have
it
on
a
screaming hot
heat
Let's
get the steak on
It's had
that
beautiful
rub
and
it's gonna
have
a
really
beautiful
flavor
So
I'm gonna
cook
that
about medium
I'm gonna
turn
that
every
minute
minute and a half
and
look after
it
Maybe
give it a turn
Look at that
sizzling away
that's what
we
want
Let's
have a feel
I'm
happy
with
that
We're
just
gonna put
them
onto
the
side
now
They've
had
a
minute
and
a bit
on each side
So
they're
cooked
about medium
What
I wanna
do
is
get some
chilli
Some
garlic
and
just
a little bit of
ginger
First of all
get
your
garlic
crusher
Put
your
garlic
with
the
skin
in
Don't bother
peeling
it
And
just
crush it
on to
the
board
Then
I
like
to
use
a
fine
cutter
and
a
box grater
Or
one of
these
little
manual
graters
Just
grate
your
chilli
About
a teaspoons worth
Ginger
about the same
You
don't
need
loads of
this
stuff
Scrape that off
And then
some
olive oil
in there
And
a little bit of
lime
juice
And
just
use
the
lime
just to
mix it up
Right
here we go
look
that's
exactly
what
I'm
talking about
Get
that
steak
move it around
That
is
how
you're going to
get
that
amazing
flavor
And then
at an angle
slice
that
steak
And
look at that
just
blushing
So
there's
your
steak
Get
your
coriander
And
just
pick
some
of
that
over
like that
Bit of
lime
in there
if
you
need
it
Little
drizzle
of
olive oil
just to
mix in
all
those
resting juices
And
there you go
A
perfect
platter
of
lovely
Chinese style
steaks
