Suicide, an all too common cause of death in our country
How is it really that Sweden
Tops this sad statistic?
You can't look at it so bleakly
You really can't, you know, like
There was an old hag, she died from the sun, playing dead
There was an old man, he died from a soccer ball
Uhh, a death-header, he got
And then there was an old man, he stuffed himself with a sausage
It's very easy to lose faith
In this life we're living
But I would, as a little comfort, like to say this
Disasters, terror, murders happen
But we who walk with Jesus are still in the clear
Because the root of all the world's evil isn't us
In the bible it's written, it's the gays' fault
I don't know which line and verse, chapter or part
But somewhere in here it says, it's the gays' fault
The dictatorship in Iran?
And earthquakes, floods and everything else horrible?
That wine and liquor and SAAB and Volvo aren't even Swedish?
My son with his hunting rifle shot four people dead
Somehow I can feel it was the gays' fault
Divorces and alcoholism?
That kids these days never learn to behave?
That the Schlager festival now never wants to end?
Everything's upside down and it's the gays' fault
My upbringing means I can probably never be mentally sound
But my family is unanimous, it's the gays' fault
Every schism in world history?
On religious grounds we wage war, kill, and fight
But the blame for that doesn't fall on us
On that we can agree, it's the gays' fault
You'd think it's Satan himself playing his games on us
But even he gets off scot-free, 'cause everything's the gays' fault
Everything that's wrong, it's the gays' fault
I've sat in front of the computer so my neck has gotten stiff
There's no doubt, it's the gays' fault
The gays', the gays', the gays', it's the gays' fault
The gays', the gays', the gays', the gays' fault
