Fred De Palma is the stage name of Federico Palana, an Italian rapper and singer born in Turin in 1989. He got his start in the late 2000s battling in freestyle contests around Turin and Milan before going solo in 2012 and later signing with Warner Music Italy.
Over the following years he became one of the biggest names in Italian urban pop, blending rap with sun-soaked reggaeton and Latin pop, and he even competed at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2024. This track pairs him with Ana Mena, a Spanish singer and actress from Málaga, who sings her part in Italian. Their 2018 summer hit "D'estate non vale" was a breakout moment that turned Ana Mena into a star in Italy and remains one of Fred De Palma's signature songs.
