hot de inimithief of hearts

Hot de inimi literally translates to "thief of hearts". It's a charming and evocative phrase that personifies the captivating power of love.

In the song, the singer uses this phrase to describe the object of his affection, highlighting how she has completely stolen his heart and attention. It's a poetic way to express being deeply smitten and captivated by someone's charm.

“De 3 Zile Nu Am Somn” (“Three Days Without Sleep”) is Emilian's duet with Theo Rose about the restless pull of a brand new crush.

From the first look, the singer is convinced this feels different, something else entirely. He can't stop checking his phone, can't sleep, and keeps replaying the moment he saw her: eyes like stars, a smile like the sun.

The chorus makes that lovesick insomnia literal: three sleepless nights, his heart giving him away because he misses her so much. It's a warm, catchy pop love song about wanting someone to be yours, and hoping they'll be yours in return.

Emilian, whose full name is Emilian Mihai Nechifor, is a Romanian pop singer who began studying music as a young child and later trained at the Bucharest Conservatory. He first became widely known after competing on X Factor Romania, reaching the semi-final in the Boys category, and fans nicknamed him "the chameleon artist" for how easily he moves between musical styles. Since then he has built a steady run of Romanian hits, including "Ochii Verzi," "Unde," and "Suflete De Sticlă."

This song features fellow Romanian artist Theo Rose (Theodora Maria Diaconu), a singer, actress, and television presenter from Ploiești. She started performing traditional Romanian folk music at just four years old and broke through nationally with "Spune-i Mamei," which topped Romania's Billboard songs chart. She later became a judge on Vocea României (The Voice Romania) and also starred in the TV series Clanul. Together, Emilian and Theo Rose's duet "De 3 Zile Nu Am Somn" became one of the biggest Romanian pop hits of its year.
