SONG MEANING

Beéle and Montano turn heartbreak into a catchy confession in Destinados. The narrator admits he once tried to walk away from a romance that felt too intense, even “tattooed” on his skin, yet every glance at his partner sends his heartbeat racing again. He pleads for a moment of silence—“Cierra los ojos, calla boca”—so both can ignore outside noise and listen to what their hearts already know: they still belong together.

Despite acknowledging past mistakes, the singer is sure fate keeps pulling them back. He recognizes her morning habits, senses when she hides her feelings, and insists that pretending indifference only fools herself. The hook repeats his wish: “Si tú supieras la falta que me haces” (If you only knew how much I miss you). Wrapped in smooth Caribbean rhythms, the song turns regret into hope, suggesting that some connections are simply destined to survive every attempt at separation.
