KodexCode of Conduct / Principles

Kodex translates to 'code of conduct' or 'principles'. It's a word that suggests a personal set of rules or ethics, which is quite intriguing in the context of a rap song.

In the lyrics, Apache 207 raps, "Auch wenn das eigentlich ganz klar gegen mein'n Kodex ist" (Even if that's clearly against my code of conduct). This line hints at a deeper internal conflict or a set of personal boundaries that the artist considers, making the word both thought-provoking and memorable.

Bläulich drops us into a neon–soaked night where Apache 207 glides through the city in his AMG, the sky glowing bluish above the speeding Benz. Over booming 808s he flashes snapshots of the high-life: oversized rims, backstage rooms packed with “Gangstern,” and a soundtrack that flips from modern trap to the 90s classic “Rhythm Is a Dancer.” Yet each boast comes with a wink. He repeats “Apache bleibt gleich” (Apache stays the same) to remind us that, even while he samples luxury and flirts with danger, he is still the down-to-earth kid his fans fell for.

Between revving engines and clinking Jäger-Cola glasses, the song pokes at class expectations (“Anders verschaffst du dir keinen Respekt bei dieser Oberschicht”) and plays with romantic tension, hinting that neither money nor bravado can truly buy authenticity. “Bläulich” is therefore both a midnight joyride and a self-aware flex: a celebration of freedom, success, and charisma, wrapped in a cool blue glow that blurs the line between street swagger and genuine soul.

Apache 207, born Volkan Yaman in 1997, is a German rapper and singer from Ludwigshafen, a city near Mannheim in southwestern Germany. He grew up there with his mother and brother, and only started releasing music in 2018, without any record label behind him.

His breakthrough came in 2019 with the hit single "Roller," which shot him to fame across Germany. Since then he has become one of the country's biggest music stars, blending rap with R&B, Eurodance, and 80s-inspired pop into a style that's part sung, part rapped.

"Wenn Das So Bleibt" captures the softer, more romantic side of his music, a tone that runs through many of his most popular songs.
