Have you ever felt like you have so much to say, but no words come out? In "Mani Vuote," which means "Empty Hands," Italian singer Angelina Mango explores this exact feeling. The song is a heartfelt apology to a loved one. The singer says sorry for not being able to control her love, for talking about pain, and for watching the other person leave without being able to stop them. The title itself comes from a powerful line where she doesn't know where to look for this person anymore: in their mistakes, or in her own "empty hands."

But this isn't just a song about loss. It's also about finding yourself. The singer admits that she also left "to take the life that was running away from me." This suggests a journey of self-discovery and taking back control. Through beautiful imagery, like clinging to someone's fingers and becoming a pencil that keeps writing, the song paints a picture of someone trying to make sense of a difficult goodbye while also starting a new chapter.
