Get ready for a classic tale of love and a temporary farewell! In "Hello Mary Lou," the singer says goodbye to his 'dolce amor' (sweet love). He has to travel far away, but he makes a heartfelt promise that he will miss her and, most importantly, that he will return.

He remembers the moment he fell for her, when her 'occhi neri' (black eyes) made his heart tremble. It was a powerful connection, and he promised to love only her. Now, as he leaves, he uses a beautiful and romantic image to describe his return: like a traveler from an old story, his horse knows the way back and will carry him, swift as the wind, back to her arms.

Adriano Celentano is an Italian singer, actor, and filmmaker, born in Milan on January 6, 1938, and known affectionately as "il Molleggiato" ("the springy one") for his loose, bouncy dance moves.

He started out as a watchmaker before launching his music career in 1959, playing rock and roll alongside future stars like Giorgio Gaber. Inspired by Elvis Presley, he helped bring rock and roll to Italy and went on to sell more than 150 million records, making him one of the country's best-selling artists ever.

Beyond music, Celentano built a huge career in film, appearing in dozens of Italian comedies and topping the box office through the 1970s and 80s. His playful, high-energy style runs through his music as much as his films.
