Laberinto translates to "labyrinth" or "maze." It's a captivating word that evokes a sense of mystery and adventure, making it more interesting than common terms.
In the song, the lyric "Contigo si me perdería en cualquier laberinto" (With you, I would get lost in any labyrinth) beautifully expresses a deep desire for connection and commitment. It signifies a willingness to face any challenge or unknown path, as long as it's with the person they love, highlighting the profound trust and devotion in the relationship.
Have you ever been so over love, so convinced it was all a "tontería" [foolishness], and then someone comes along and completely changes your mind? That's exactly what Río Roma sings about in "Contigo"! This song is a beautiful declaration from someone who was once heartbroken and skeptical, but now sees their past as just a "buena lección" [good lesson] thanks to a new love.
It's all about that feeling of finding the person who makes everything simple and right. The singer says, "Contigo si me perdería en cualquier laberinto" [With you, I would get lost in any labyrinth] and "No me imagino mi futuro si no es de tu mano" [I can't imagine my future if it's not by your hand]. It's a promise of forever, even saying, "Contigo sí me veo en cien años aún amándote" [With you, I see myself in a hundred years, still loving you]. It's such a sweet and heartfelt song about finding your soulmate and realizing how silly it was to ever think they didn't exist.
