incubi — nightmares

Incubi translates to "nightmares". It's a word that immediately evokes a strong image and a sense of drama, making it quite memorable and less common than everyday vocabulary.

In the song, the artist sings, "Gli incubi non mi raggiungeranno fino al giorno nuovo" (The nightmares won't reach me until the new day). This line uses the word to express a hopeful defiance against inner struggles, suggesting that the dawn brings a fresh start and a temporary escape from troubling thoughts. It adds a layer of depth to the song's theme of seeking solace and renewal.

"Fino Al Giorno Nuovo" is about dancing as a way to survive a hard stretch of life. The singer barely sleeps, wakes up at night and dances alone, using movement to forget everything that weighs on him during the day.

The verses admit to real mistakes and lies, and to speaking harsh truths that hurt people, all in the name of feeling free. There's exhaustion and self-doubt too, a sense of not knowing who he is anymore, of running until he bleeds, just to make it to a new day.

Fabri Fibra's verse adds a rapper's perspective on the same grind: writing new material, listening to old records, wanting to say something real but not finding the words. The chorus keeps returning to the same image: dancing like a madman until dawn, until a new day finally arrives.
