Пароходы (parokhody) literally means "steamboats". It's a charming, slightly old-fashioned word that you wouldn't expect to find in a modern love song, which makes it very memorable.
The lyrics paint a series of grand, surreal pictures of the couple's unity. The line "И нас за своих примут пароходы" ("And the steamboats will accept us as their own") is a whimsical, poetic image suggesting their bond is so strong that they'll find belonging in the most unusual of places, as long as they are together.
"ВДВОЁМ" (Together / As a pair) is a sweeping Russian pop duet by Maksim Fadeev and Nargiz that imagines every wild, extreme fate two people could share. Instead of standard romantic lines, the lyrics throw out absurd, grand scenarios: maybe they will go crazy and end up separated into different hospital rooms ("И нас разместят с тобой в разных палатах"), or maybe they are two brilliant Nobel Prize winners ("как будто два нобель лауреата"). They might make an Oscar-worthy film but lose out simply because of bad weather ("Мы можем снять с тобой фильм на оскара / И не получить его из-за погоды"), turn into oceans split by continents, get soaked in the sea until steamships mistake them for their own, or drift above the clouds like angels.
No matter how ridiculous the possibilities get, the core message locks into total loyalty. The chorus grounds everything in a simple orbit: "Мы вдвоём вокруг солнца на земле день за днём" ("The two of us around the sun on Earth, day after day"). Rain or shine ("И под ярким самым и под дождём"), they vow to survive everything in the world side-by-side ("Всё на свете вместе переживём"), right down to the old fairytale ideal of passing away together on the exact same day ("И когда-нибудь в один день умрём"). It is dramatic, a little eccentric, and completely committed.
