Межзвёздно is a beautiful adverb that literally means "interstellar" or "between the stars". It's a rare and captivating word that you won't find in most songs.
JONY uses it to create a magical, almost sci-fi image of love, singing "И полетаем мы межзвёздно" (And we will fly interstellar). He's inviting his love to escape with him on a cosmic journey, making for a truly unforgettable and romantic lyric.
In "Когда Всё Поймёшь" (When You Understand Everything), Russian pop artist JONY is stuck in an emotional loop that he straight-up calls "день сурка" (Groundhog Day)—waking up every morning and immediately reaching for his phone ("С надеждой тянется к телефону рука" / [With hope my hand reaches for the phone]). Even though everyone tells him she is not coming back, he refuses to believe them. Instead, he looks back on a past mistake ("Я допустил такую оплошность" / [I made such a blunder]) and dreams of interstellar escapes ("полетаем мы межзвёздно" / [let's fly interstellar]), even as he admits she never took his cosmic promises seriously.
He uses intense, almost surreal imagery like burning flowers and blazing summer rain ("Цветы горели / Пылал летний дождь" / [Flowers burned, summer rain blazed]) to describe the fallout. As weeks pass and another May slips by, he pleads with her to break her chains ("Ты цепи сломай" / [Break your chains]) and meet him in mid-air like a comet rushing into paradise. It is a dramatic, starry-eyed track about longing for someone who walked away, wrapped in the bitter warning that once she finally figures out what they had, it will simply be too late.
