Cursilería is a fantastic Spanish word for "cheesiness" or "corniness," perfectly describing anything that is overly sentimental or cliché in a romantic way.
In "Tanto," the singer admits, "Tanta cursilería, me suele incomodar" (So much cheesiness, it tends to make me uncomfortable). This is ironic because the whole song is an incredibly sweet and heartfelt declaration of love, showing just how much the other person has changed them.

Jesse & Joy are a Mexican brother-and-sister pop duo from Mexico City. Jesse Huerta plays piano and guitar, while his younger sister Joy takes the lead vocals. The pair started writing songs together as teenagers and signed with Warner Music in 2005.
They released their debut album in 2006 and quickly became one of the biggest acts in Latin pop. Their song "¡Corre!," from the 2011 album ¿Con Quién Se Queda El Perro?, won Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the Latin Grammys. Jesse & Joy have since won six Latin Grammys in total, plus a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album.
