Derived from the English word "pitcher" (like in baseball), it creates an image of "pitching" someone's advances away. In the song, Bad Bunny feels "run over" by his ex's pichaera, making it a powerful and unique way to describe the pain of being ignored.

Born José Álvaro Osorio Balvín in 1985, he had been releasing music in Colombia for about a decade before anyone outside it paid attention.
