"Cuatro 44" is a back-and-forth flirtation told from two sides. First Gera MX raps about a woman he saw "brillando, dando flow lejos en su concierto" (shining, bringing the flow at her concert far away), with "tres cuatros en su nombre" (three fours in her name). He is star-struck: she leaves him boquiabierto (open-mouthed), she is "un oasis en el desierto" (an oasis in the desert), and he jokes he was writing verses "antes que saliera un Nokia" (before Nokia phones came out).
Then Emjay answers, and she is not so easily won. She saw him from afar with his face covered, but "sus tatuajes lo delataron" (his tattoos gave him away), and she sums him up perfectly: "cara de malo, ojos de enamorado" (bad guy face, lover's eyes). She doesn't trust it: "Los raperos como tú no saben querer" (rappers like you don't know how to love). The chorus keeps asking "¿En dónde estás?" (where are you?), and the outro gives the title its meaning: "Vámonos para el cuarto, habitación 444" (let's go to the room, room 444), where a look was their only contract.
