Perreamos comes from the verb perrear, which is a slang term for dancing to reggaeton music in a very close, often provocative, style known as "perreo".
In the song, the lyric "Cuando ponían la canción, perreamos, bailamos" (When they played the song, we perreo-ed, we danced) evokes a vivid image of the couple's intimate and carefree moments together. It's an interesting word because it's specific to a modern dance culture and adds a layer of youthful, passionate nostalgia to the lyrics, making it more engaging than a generic word for dancing.
Heartbreak has never sounded so poetic. In "Las Historias Se Acaban", Mexican-American sensation Eslabón Armado joins forces with Sarah Silva to paint the moment when a fairy-tale romance shatters. The singers trade confessions of raw pain: every breath once felt shared, the sun now hides behind gray clouds, and even the happiest party memories sting. Their bittersweet voices glide over a gentle, guitar-driven beat that makes you sway while your heart sinks.
The title means “Stories Come to an End,” and the lyrics explore what happens after the final page. Promises are broken. Memories fade to nada. The narrator spirals into depression, begging for the return of lost warmth and those kiss-cures that once fixed everything. It is a vivid reminder that love can feel like a dream, but when the music stops, you might be dancing alone with nothing but memories and a heavy heart.
Eslabón Armado began in 2017 as three teenagers from Patterson, California, playing sierreño on twelve-string guitar and bass while they were still at Patterson High School. Brothers Pedro and Brian Tovar are the two constants; Pedro started writing the songs at about ten, and the first album was cut in a garage. Their subject is almost always heartbreak, taken slowly and sung close to the microphone.
That garage record, Tu Veneno Mortal (2020), still went to No. 1 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart, and "Con Tus Besos" and "La Trokita" were the singles that carried it. Corta Venas arrived the same year and is certified 8x platinum in the Latin field. Nostalgia (2022) hit No. 9 on the Billboard 200, the first regional Mexican album to reach the top ten there. In March 2023 they released "Ella Baila Sola" with Peso Pluma, which peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100 and became the first regional Mexican song in the top ten, and the album behind it, Desvelado, entered at No. 6. Amor Perdido followed in 2024, Vibras de Noche 2 in 2025.
