hipnotizadohypnotized

Hipnotizado translates to 'hypnotized'. It's a powerful word that describes a state of being completely captivated and enchanted, as if you're under a magic spell.

In this deeply romantic song, the singer confesses, "En verdad me tienes bien hipnotizado" (Truly, you have me very hypnotized). He uses this word to express how his lover's gaze has a mesmerizing, almost magical effect on him, showing the incredible depth of his adoration.

This is a song about a love so intense it feels like an obsession. Eslabon Armado and Ivan Cornejo sing about being completely lost in someone's eyes, saying, "Yo me pierdo en tu mirada cada vez" (I get lost in your gaze every time). It's a feeling of being totally hypnotized and wanting to be with this person constantly. The core promise of the song is a love that lasts forever, right in the title line: "Sólo tú y yo hasta el final, a la muerte" (Only you and I until the end, until death).

He's not shy about how deep his feelings go, admitting, "Bien obsesionado estoy sin dudar" (I'm very obsessed, without a doubt). This isn't just a crush; he feels like this person is the only one who understands him and takes away his stress. The love makes him feel powerful enough to promise the impossible, like bringing down the moon and stars. It's a declaration of wanting to share a whole life together, holding onto their "lindas manitas" (pretty little hands) and never letting go.

Eslabón Armado began in 2017 as three teenagers from Patterson, California, playing sierreño on twelve-string guitar and bass while they were still at Patterson High School. Brothers Pedro and Brian Tovar are the two constants; Pedro started writing the songs at about ten, and the first album was cut in a garage. Their subject is almost always heartbreak, taken slowly and sung close to the microphone.

That garage record, Tu Veneno Mortal (2020), still went to No. 1 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart, and "Con Tus Besos" and "La Trokita" were the singles that carried it. Corta Venas arrived the same year and is certified 8x platinum in the Latin field. Nostalgia (2022) hit No. 9 on the Billboard 200, the first regional Mexican album to reach the top ten there. In March 2023 they released "Ella Baila Sola" with Peso Pluma, which peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100 and became the first regional Mexican song in the top ten, and the album behind it, Desvelado, entered at No. 6. Amor Perdido followed in 2024, Vibras de Noche 2 in 2025.
