This phrase beautifully captures the feeling of excitement and nervousness, especially in the context of new love. The singer admits he never believed in this feeling, making it a central theme of his newfound emotional awakening.
ENKAY spends most of this song admitting he was the problem. He works without a record label and stays the creative motor behind every stage of his productions, and he built his audience on TikTok rather than through radio. That is where his break came from too: he won LUNA's Open Verse Challenge for her song "Verlierer", and the "Verlierer (Creator Version) ft. ENKAY" that came out of it ran on German radio for weeks.
