The song opens with an argument about kissing. Un beso no es nada [a kiss is nothing], Dread Mar I decides, Si no es por amor [if it isn't out of love], and from there the verses go soft and weightless: Rendido a tus brazos [surrendered in your arms], Volando entre nubes de cristal, de cristal [floating through clouds of crystal, of crystal]. That is a lot of floating for a reggae song about a broken heart, and it turns out to be the setup.
The chorus lands somewhere much less pretty. Ya has armado un par de veces este roto corazón [you have put this broken heart back together a couple of times] is a strange thing to thank someone for, and he means it as the compliment. The title says it more bluntly: Tú conoces mis miserias [you know my miseries], offered as relief rather than confession, because Porque ya me has visto mal [because you have already seen me at my worst] means there is nothing left to perform. Then Ya tú sabes cómo actuar [you already know how to act], and the band repeats that whole chorus five times to the end of the track. Say a thing enough times and maybe you believe it.
