Dilsinho (born Dilson Scher Neto in 1992) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro, raised on the Ilha do Governador. He got his first guitar from his father at age 13 and started out playing in local bars.
He began his career in 2009 with the band Para de Kaô, and before going solo he wrote songs recorded by other pagode and samba artists, including Thiaguinho, Alexandre Pires, and Sorriso Maroto. He launched his own solo career in 2014.
Known for blending pop, hip hop, and funk carioca into a style he calls "pagode diferentão," Dilsinho is one of the most streamed pagode artists in Brazil, and his hit "Péssimo Negócio" was the most-played song on Brazilian radio in 2019.
