Convaleciente means 'convalescing' or 'recovering from an illness'. It's a more formal and less common word than simply 'sick' or 'recovering', making it stand out.
In the song, the singer uses this word to describe his state without his love interest, saying, "Que asĂ convaleciente no puedo vivir si no es junto a ti" (Because convalescing like this, I can't live if it's not with you). He playfully compares his longing and need for her to a serious illness from which he needs her to recover, adding a dramatic and endearing touch to his declaration of love.
Get ready to fall in love with CNCO's "Mi Medicina"! This song is all about that head-over-heels, can't-live-without-you kind of love. The singer is completely smitten, describing how just hearing his love interest's name makes him want to be close to her. He even says, "Cada segundo que no estás conmigo es una eternidad" [Every second you're not with me is an eternity] – talk about intense feelings!
He sees this person as his cure, his "medicina" [medicine], healing him from a lost state. He's so captivated that he feels "loco enamorado" [crazy in love] and completely conquered. The lyrics are full of sweet declarations like "Te bajo la luna, te sueño despierto" [I'll bring you the moon, I dream of you while awake], and he even humorously claims he needs her "remedio" [remedy] because he's "enfermo" [sick] with love, and only her kisses on his neck can cure him. It's a fun, passionate declaration of how one special person can truly brighten and heal your life.
