Turra is Argentine slang for a woman seen as bold, rebellious, or provocative, sometimes used as an insult and sometimes reclaimed with pride depending on who says it and how.
The song flips the insult on its head: "TĂş me dices, 'Turra, turra'" ("You call me 'wild one, wild one'"), with the singer owning the label instead of being hurt by it.
Get ready to dive into the world of Cazzu's "TURRA" featuring Alan Gomez! This song is a bold and playful anthem where Cazzu fully embraces being called a "turra" (a term that can mean a 'bold' or 'shameless' woman). She's not just accepting it; she's owning it and turning it into a badge of honor.
Cazzu's lyrics are all about confidence and taking charge. She sings, "Él me dice, 'Turra, sos una descará'' / Pero es que, papi, con tu carita yo me quiero enviciar" [He tells me, 'Turra, you're shameless' / But it's just that, daddy, with your cute face I want to get addicted]. She's clearly smitten but also completely in control, even joking about kidnapping him: "Sin pedir permiso te voy a secuestrar" [Without asking permission I'm going to kidnap you]. She's a "cazadora" [huntress] who has her target "en la mira" [in her sights], and she's not afraid to go after what she wants. It's a super fun and empowering track about a woman who knows her power and isn't afraid to use it!
