Desborda comes from desbordar, meaning “to overflow” or “spill over,” as when liquid rises beyond the edge of a container. In the song, it appears in the vivid image “se desborda gota a gota” (“it overflows drop by drop”), adding a memorable sense of intensity and excess to the lyrics.
Brray, a Puerto Rican artist, teams up with Día and L-O-N for a flirtation that turns quickly into an explicit sexual encounter. The lyrics begin with two people feeding off each other’s looks and the heat of their touching: “Ya tu mirada con la mía están saciándose” [Your gaze and mine are already satisfying each other]. The repeated invitation, “Si me está mirando así de rico, pues vamos” [If you are looking at me that deliciously, then let’s go], makes the mood direct and confident. Even the title, “Puej Claro,” is a playful pronunciation of “pues claro,” meaning “of course,” matching the blunt answer to whether the encounter is going further: “¿Que si va pa’ dentro? Mami, pues claro” [Are you going inside? Baby, of course].
The song mixes sensual images with Puerto Rican and Caribbean slang, flashy money references, and teasing wordplay. “Blue cheese, que eso está ricota” [Blue cheese, that is very rich] compares the woman’s appeal to something expensive and irresistible, while “una vida sin ti yo no quiero pensar” [I do not want to think about a life without you] adds a possessive romantic note beneath all the bravado. The chorus keeps returning to mutual desire and clear permission, with the woman encouraged to say if she is ready. It is a very adult track, funny in places and deliberately excessive, built around attraction, body language, and the rush of two people deciding to stop circling each other and act.
