Belinda opens this one by talking to the moon: "Amiga luna, tú que lo ves" (friend moon, you who can see him). She wants to know if her ex is happy with someone new, or if he is just out wandering the city. She admits she knew he was "un caso perdido" (a lost cause) but went all in anyway. "Neta" is Mexican slang for "honestly" or "for real", so "Neta, yo me la jugué" is her saying "for real, I bet everything on you."
The hook is the fun part. He disappeared "como Rayo McQueen" (like Lightning McQueen), the race car from Pixar's Cars, which is a cute way of saying he left at top speed. Then Alemán answers from his side, and he is not exactly sorry. He is "borrachín" (a bit drunk), misses her "machín" (Mexican slang for "a lot", "like crazy"), and says he would love to apologise "pero se sabe muy bien que yo sigo siendo un cabrón" (but everyone knows I am still a bastard). Honest, at least.
He calls her "bandida" (bandit, thief) because she stole a piece of his heart, and brags about a "tipo malo flow James Dean" (bad guy, James Dean style) attitude while telling her he likes her more than Supreme, the streetwear brand. Belinda's last word is simple: if you hear this song, "vuélveme a llamar" (call me again).
