Cálese is a colloquial and somewhat informal way of saying "try it" or "test it out." It comes from the verb calar, which can mean to penetrate, soak, or even to try on clothes.
In this song, the singer uses Cálese conmigo (Try me out / Test me out) as a playful and confident challenge to the person he's interested in. He's essentially saying, "Give me a chance, and you'll see how good I am." It's an enticing and unique way to express his desire and conviction.
Get ready to swoon! Banda MS, a fantastic band from Mexico, brings us a song that's all about pure admiration and a bold pursuit of love. The singer is completely smitten, telling someone, "Ahí amarra usted" [That's where you tie me up] and "Así está bonita" [You're beautiful just like that]. He's not just complimenting them; he's ready to go all in, even saying, "le pongo un beso a su boquita" [I'll put a kiss on your little mouth].
He's so confident and ready for this relationship, declaring, "Yo también 'toy puesto, vámonos calando" [I'm ready too, let's give it a try]. He's been waiting for this for a long time, admitting, "la verdad me estoy quemando Por tener sus besos de hace mucho tiempo" [the truth is I'm burning To have your kisses from a long time ago]. He's even a little playful, challenging them with, "Dígame que no pa' que me conozca de terco" [Tell me no so you can get to know me as stubborn]. He's so serious about it that he'd wait "siquiera una vida" [at least a lifetime] for them, and he's already "preparé el terreno" [prepared the ground]. It's a fun, straightforward declaration of love and a challenge to take a chance!
