bebesota — Babe / Hottie

Bebesota is a playful and powerful slang term that literally means 'big baby' (from bebé + the augmentative suffix -ota).

However, it's used as a huge compliment for a woman, similar to 'babe' or 'hottie'. In the song, Bad Bunny upgrades a classic pet name by singing, "Tú no eres bebecita, tú eres bebesota" (You're not a little baby, you're a bebesota), praising her as a confident, beautiful woman who is on another level.

Me Porto Bonito is a high-energy reggaeton track by Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny alongside veteran Chencho Corleone. The song is an outright flirtation where Bad Bunny promises to tame his wild ways for someone who completely distracts him. He offers a simple deal: "En la calle ando suelto, pero por ti me quito / Si tú me lo pides, yo me porto bonito" ("I'm running wild in the streets, but for you I'll quit / If you ask me, I'll behave nicely"). He complains that her ex did not show her off enough, insisting that if he were her boyfriend, he would post her photos every Monday and Friday.

The lyrics are packed with unapologetic Puerto Rican slang and pop culture nods. When Chencho calls her a "bebesota" instead of a "bebecita", he means she is a full-grown, stunning woman, not just a cute girl. The track gets famously blunt when Bad Bunny offers to send a resume ("dime dónde dejo el résume" [tell me where I leave the resume]) for the open boyfriend position, and drops a sharp nostalgic joke: back in the 2000s she listened to the Mexican teen pop group RBD, but today she just wants to dance against the wall with real "THC, no CBD". It is bold, direct, and completely focused on mutual desire.

Bad Bunny was bagging groceries at a supermarket in Vega Baja and studying audiovisual communication at the University of Puerto Rico's Arecibo campus when the tracks he was uploading to SoundCloud between shifts reached DJ Luian, who signed him to Hear This Music in 2016. He was born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio in Bayamón in 1994 and grew up in the Almirante Sur barrio of Vega Baja.

The breakout was "Diles" in 2016, then "Soy Peor" that December, and by 2018 he was on Cardi B's "I Like It", a number one on the Hot 100. His albums run from X 100pre and YHLQMDLG through Un Verano Sin Ti, the year end number one on the Billboard 200 in 2022, to Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which in February 2026 became the first all Spanish language album to win the Grammy for Album of the Year. He also has "Callaíta", "Dakiti" and "Tití Me Preguntó" behind him, a summer 2025 residency at the Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, and a WrestleMania tag team match in 2021 that he and Damian Priest won.
