ํ๋์์ผ literally translates to "bluebird". In Korean culture, the bluebird is a symbol of hope, happiness, and good fortune, often appearing in fairy tales and folklore.
In "HALAZIA", the lyrics refer to a "์๋ฆฌ๋ฅผ ์์ ์์ ํ๋์์ผ" (a small bluebird that has lost its voice). This imagery evokes a sense of lost hope or suppressed expression, making the word particularly poignant and memorable in the context of the song's themes of silence and longing for freedom.
HALAZIA is ATEEZโs cinematic call for light in a world that feels frozen over. The lyrics paint a landscape where freedom has drowned, hearts grow numb, and even vibrant blue birds have forgotten their songs. Repeating the mysterious word โHalaziaโ feels like striking a match in pitch-black darkness: it summons a guiding beacon that can warm cold hopes, revive silenced voices, and flip an unjust world on its head. Lines like โWho are you?โ and โItโs just me, myself and Iโ reveal an inner struggle for identity, reminding listeners that the fight against gloom begins within.
Ultimately the track is an anthem of resistance and rebirth. ATEEZ urges us to keep our souls, stay in control, and transform despair into blazing passion. By chanting for light again and again, the song nudges every listener to become a spark for othersโproving that even when the night seems endless, a single shout of โHalazia!โ can ignite a revolution of hope.
