OdiseaOdyssey

Odisea directly translates to "Odyssey", referencing the epic poem about a long, adventurous journey. It's a very dramatic and literary word that you wouldn't typically expect to find in a reggaeton song.

Anuel sings, "Tú me tienes en una odisea" (You have me in an odyssey), using it as a powerful metaphor. He's describing his romantic situation as a difficult, complicated, and seemingly endless journey, showing just how lost and consumed he feels by the relationship.

Anuel Aa isn't being subtle in this song. He's calling a woman he's involved with, but who has a boyfriend, in the middle of the night. The whole vibe is a late-night plea for her to leave her man and spend the night with him. He's completely confident she wants to, telling her, "Yo sé que me prefieres, y quieres" [I know you prefer me, and you want to]. He knows she's unhappy where she is, saying, "Quieres volver, con él no te sientes bien" [You want to come back, you don't feel good with him].

The chorus is a direct and very explicit invitation: "Quédate en lo que amanece para ir rompiéndote toda" [Stay until dawn so I can break you all over]. He's not talking about feelings so much as a physical, almost desperate, connection. He even throws in some pretty bold name-drops, referencing fellow artists Karol G (his famous ex-girlfriend) and Becky G to describe how he sees this woman. It's a classic Anuel track: intense, a little arrogant, and all about a forbidden, passionate encounter.
